Good river shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful monarchs, happy to know these got down South successfully. I warmed up just seeing your photos.
ReplyDelete...Monarchs are hard to beat.
ReplyDelete...shimmery.
...wonderful reflection.
...sure is BIG!
...so that's why they stand on one leg!
Thanks Lea for stopping by, have a great weekend.
Wow Lea you got lots going on for Friday. Like the reflection picture of the Heron.

I have only seen a couple of monarchs this week. I think most of ours have moved farther south. Love the heron shot and the river is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe monarchs and the herons have been gone from here for some weeks.
ReplyDeleteThose turtles are quite different from what we see here, and those we see here are pretty much gone for the winter.
The heron pic is particularly great, Lea! No more butterflies here until spring.
ReplyDeleteThe monarch photos are stunning!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe Monarch butterflies are so gorgeous and that Heron is stunning with the reflection. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello! So interesting and great photos. The monarch is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful critters.
ReplyDeleteNice mix of photos.
ReplyDeleteHello, wonderful variety of photos. I love the Monarch, Heron and the sweet Killdeer. Great sighting of the slider turtle and the soft-shell turtle is a cool critter. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuperb pictures of the Monarch butterfly, I also like your Blue Heron shot. So majestic.
ReplyDeleteYou've seen some of my favorite things...the Kildeer and soft shell turtle! Both are rare to see here and exciting!
ReplyDeleteSeems late to me for a monarch butterfly but wow, your butterfly bush is still in beautiful bloom as well. Love the reflection on your Blue Heron shot. Hope you are having a great Saturday!
ReplyDeleteAll your photos of the critters & river are fantastic as always.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend you've made us at I'd Rather B Birdin very pleased with your bird species and commentary...thanks!
