Harvestmen,
Opiliones, look like spiders but they are not spiders. They do not weave webs, and are not poisonous. They are called Harvestmen because they are most often seen during the Autumn harvest season.
5. Thanksgiving Cactus (Floral Friday Fotos)
 |
| Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, November 16, 2017 |
Schlumbergera truncate is commonly called Thanksgiving Cactus in the United States because it blooms in November near the time of our Thanksgiving Day (November 23 this year). They are natives of Brazil and are most often grown as houseplants here.
I hope you have a wonderful week-end!
