I was looking through my photo archives this morning and found this photo of an old milk can under the edge of a barn. In the 1940s and 1950s, milk trucks traveled the countryside buying fresh milk from dairy farmers and taking it to the milk plant for processing. Then the milk was sold by a milkman who delivered milk in glass jars to townspeople. How times have changed!
Have a great week!
