The Barn Collective, Saturday's Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, November 5, 2018
I think that is a cow and two donkeys in front of the barn, and in the pasture is…

a herd of donkeys!

Your bird for today is...
Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, November 5, 2018
a Turkey Vulture, Cathartes aura.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hello, nice barn find. I see horses there too. I love donkeys, they are so cute. Great vulture capture. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy day and a great new week ahead!

  5. That old shed barn is perfect (not condition, but perfect for your nice photo), Lea. I like old buildings and donkeys too. I don't see many of those. The pond in front needs some pigs or hogs to wallow.
My BIL and SIL live in Jackson, Tenn. He tunes and repairs pianos, she is a retired teacher (aren't we all?). We will get him to see the dam some time when we visit, it should be real pretty around there.
    Thank you lots for visiting,

  6. Very nice farm shots and lovely flight shot of the vulture (we like to watch them soar, although Bill always reminds me to look alive when they fly over us).

  9. The vulture looks quite graceful in flight.

When I was growing up, our property backed up to the woods on one half, and to a farmer's field on the other half. The farmer had dairy cattle, and they kept a donkey or two in with the herd, so I'd see them if they were in that area. I've never seen more than two donkeys though.
