Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, November 16, 2020
The Tufted Titmouse, Baeolophus bicolor, is a year-round resident of the Eastern half of the United States and the Great Lakes region of Canada. They are very fast-moving little birds that grab a seed from the feeder and fly off to the trees to hide it to eat later! During the warmer months, they eat a wide variety of insects.

Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day, November 2020

The northeast corner of Mississippi USA zone 7b
I am glad I made these photos a few day ago - it is raining here today.

Carolina Jessamine is a vine that blooms after the Summer's heat has passed.

Turk's Cap is also called Sleeping Hibiscus.

My red Rose has a few blooms. Our temperatures have been so mild that the bees are still buzzing around!

But the star of the show this year is the "Autumn Royalty" Encore Azalea, blooming for 4 months now!

Happy Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day!
