Question Mark Butterfly, October 30, 2018

ABC Wednesday and Wednesday Around The World
Q is for the Question Mark Butterfly

Prentiss County, Mississippi. USA, September 29, 2018
The Question Mark Butterfly, Polygonia interrogationis, gets its name from the small white marks on the underside of its wings. It can be found in the eastern and central parts of the United States and in southern Canada.

I got only a brief glimpse of the upper side of its wings before it flew away.

Have a wonderful day!
