Northern Mockingbirds, Mimus polyglottos, are widespread across much of North America, but their range includes only a small part of Canada. In the eastern and southern parts of the United States and in Mexico, they are year-round residents.

Northern Mockingbirds are known for their ability to imitate the songs of many other birds. They eat a wide variety of insects, fruit, and berries.
