Fence with Egret, August 6, 2015

Good Fences and Signs, Signs

Good Fences
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, July 23, 2015

I was focusing on this Egret, and it was only after I transferred the photos to my computer that I noticed I had an interesting reflection of the fence, too.

I think this is a Great Egret, Casmerodius albus.

Signs, Signs
Corinth, Mississippi, USA, July 11, 2015

C.A.R.E. - Corinth Alcorn Reaching for Excellence. Early Corinth prosperity was boosted by the railroads that came through town.  To honor that heritage, a railroad conductor greets visitors to the park.  (Alcorn is the county name).

Hope you are having a wonderful day!

  8. Pretty bird....great post with fence reflection...
I learned something just the other day, reading a book on birds...Tupelo is a TREE. I did not know that....I'm thinking then, that Tupelo Miss. is named for the tree?
