Sunflower, Prentiss county, Mississippi, USA |
I'm not sure exactly which Sunflower this is as I got it from a packet of mixed seeds. The plant is just over waist-high and branching to make several heads. I am a bit disappointed in it as the blooms are a very pale yellow. Other Sunflowers I have grown were brilliant yellow, almost orange. Whatever the color, I'm glad to see it growing and blooming!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous close-up!
ReplyDeleteI actually LIKE the pale yellow comparing to the more normal intense yellow. It would make a great bouquet with other flowers I think.
