The Barn Collective and All Seasons

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, October 27, 2019
Tropical Storm Olga came through our area this weekend giving us over 2 inches of rain and knocking out our electric power from noon Saturday until Sunday morning. It blew most of the leaves off our fruit trees, but the leaves of the Sweet Gum trees behind the barn are still holding on.

Your bird for today is...

… a Northern Cardinal, Cardinalis cardinalis.

Have a blessed day!

  1. A barn and a red bird all in the same shot----perfect. Our leaves are starting to fall----soon everything except the Conifers will be bare.

  7. Cardinals are so pretty. It's nice to have a bright colour when the trees are becoming bare. - Margy
