Opals, October 15, 2019

ABC Wednesday and Our World Tuesday
O is for Opals - the birthstone for October. My birthday is October 20.

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, October 15, 2019
After I graduated from high school, got a job, and began to save a little money, I bought myself this Opal ring. Now many years later, it will only fit on my little finger. I guess I could get it stretched. If I remember correctly, the small red stones are garnets.

    I also love opals, and have a ring which no longer fits any fingers. Need to think about the stretching thing. Glad you kept this one of celebration.
