The Northern Mockingbird,
Mimus polyglottos, is the only Mockingbird commonly found in North America. It is white underneath, and has a grey head, back, wings, and tail. A few white feathers in its wings and tail are more visible in flight. Mockingbirds are so named because of their ability in mimic other bird songs. If you think you hear a chorus of different birds, it may be just one Mockingbird!
Have a wonderful day!
