ReplyDeleteI've got hummers that look like that at my feeder, and their heads are turning darker, so maybe they are maturing. They were mostly grey up till now.

ReplyDeleteLove hummingbirds! We have a feeder by the kitchen window, so I see them regularly. Very skiddish though! How do you keep up finding another barn each week (it would mean about 50 barns per year)? Your zeal for barns and birds is much appreciated, as well as linking up to All Seasons to share. We have many hummingbirds massing for migration now and it will only be a matter of days before they will leave us. We will miss them!
