The Barn Collective, All Seasons, Saturday's Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Lee County, Mississippi, USA, September 6, 2019
A well-kept place with a pretty white fence, but I did not see any horses or cows in the pasture.

Your bird for today is...
Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, September 1, 2019
… a Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Only the males have red throats so this is either a female or a juvenile.

Have a blessed day!

  4. I've got hummers that look like that at my feeder, and their heads are turning darker, so maybe they are maturing. They were mostly grey up till now.

  8. Love hummingbirds! We have a feeder by the kitchen window, so I see them regularly. Very skiddish though! How do you keep up finding another barn each week (it would mean about 50 barns per year)? Your zeal for barns and birds is much appreciated, as well as linking up to All Seasons to share. Have a lovely september week:)

  13. I really love to see this little bird! Unfortunately these small birds are not in the Netherlands. I always enjoy the blogs in which I do see these beautiful birds.
