The Barn Collective, All Seasons, and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Lee County, Mississippi, USA, September 14, 2019
The barn is full of farm equipment; the horse has to make do with a small open-sided stable. But it is enough shelter from storms, and its food trough is in there. We have mild Winters here so most horses and cows stay outside all year.

    Unexpected surprise, here in California at 3000 feet, we put on the woodstove today. Yesterday night, I was dressed too thinly and took till a few hours after midnight to fall asleep, after I put on some warmer night clothes! The horses maybe spoiled down here, the winters are not really winters, but they are not see during those months, so they must be in the stable!
