ABC Wednesday, Wild Bird Wednesday, and My Corner of the World
J is for Juvenile - young, immature, not yet an adult

This is a juvenile Eastern Bluebird, Sialia sialis. If this is a male, the speckled feathers will be replaced by bright blue feathers as it matures. If a female, the back and wing feathers will be a lighter blue.
