I is for Italics - a printing style with letters sloping to the right used to emphasize words or to separate one word or phrase from another. For example, italics can be used to separate the scientific name from the common name of plants and animals.

I love seeing pelicans! Which truth be known, I seldom see them...so doubly exciting.
