The Barn Collective, January 17, 2016

Tippah County, Mississippi, USA, January 13, 2016
You see how steeply the land rises behind the barn. That is why this area of Mississippi is called the Tippah Hills.

I had to zoom in really close to get the electric power lines out of the picture.

Have a blessed day!

  1. WOW. what a long barn and that lean-to with the flat roof tells me it's a southern barn. Snow would bring it crashing down up here. Lea thanks for joining The Barn Collective and I hope that you return again with more barns form your neck of the woods.

  5. I often see barns like this one with the big roof/metal awning sticking out in the front. These area really do come in handy for the farmers Nice shots.

  6. This looks like it could be taken where I grew up in East Tennessee...the area around it I mean. I wonder what all is under that shed...

  7. Cool beans! I don't know much about Mississippi.

We get a nice rise here on Cacapon Mountain (it's a little Ridge-and-Valley Appalachian mountain, to be sure).
