Straight Out Of The Camera, January 4, 2016, Corinth, Mississippi, USA |
One of my goals for 2016 is to improve my night photography skills. This church photo will serve as a beginning photo to compare my progress to as the year advances. One thing I can see right away is that I need to be more aware of nearby lights. Perhaps a different angle could have eliminated or minimized the extraneous lights. I welcome your photo tips and advice.
Have a wonderful day!

Breathtaking photo of this beautiful church at night!!! I am not sure that I would be able to capture so beautifully in the darkness this church. Great photo work!!!

I've never tried night photography but you did a wonderful job of this photo Lea. The Church is beautiful & looks like it's glowing with the lighting. The Spire really stands out beautifully
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful start. I bought a tripod to use for night shots, as I normally use only a monopod. Guess what? I haven't tried my first one yet. Maybe you have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteVery nice shot. I took a night photography class once, but it was with film and since I didn't have even the most basic of skills, I didn't get a lot out of the class. :-) Maybe a digital one would be in order for me...
ReplyDeleteNice shot, and a good goal for improving your photography. I find that just trial and error helps me learn a lot. Put your camera on a tripod and start shooting!
ReplyDeleteHello Lea, I am sorry I didn't visit your Blue Mon. before today. I did think the cleaning truck left the door open. The macro flower is so pretty. I can see you are into photography and the church is really interesting at night. I think I can learn from you. I have never been that good at macro pics. It would help if I read the book. HA!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
