A very beautiful example of an iris. Delightful macro.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty flower. Does it grow wild?
ReplyDeleteNo, not a wildflower, but I can see how you would think so, seeing the poison ivy and Virginia creeper in the background. It is just that my yard is a mess - I was seriously ill last year and things got out of hand. We've had a lot of rain this Spring (it is pouring down now) and we haven't been able to get to all the jobs that need doing.
DeleteThanks for your comment.

A fabulous flower
ReplyDeleteHi Lea,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I like your background too. Thanks for sharing.
Happy Blue Monday!
I really had some pretty flowers like this, but so much rain has ruined them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! I love irisis.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I don't think I have ever seen one like this before.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the rain is so good for our gardens my yard is wild with weeds and I can not get a handle on it. We get rain every single day and I am not sure it will stop anytime soon. Lovely photos. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteDon't think I've seen one quite like that before. Lovely.
ReplyDeletePretty flower, so nice to see in your springtime!
ReplyDeleteThat's really different looking. Can't say I've seen any of those around here.
