Geese with Goslings, May 30, 2015

Canada Geese on the campus of Itawamba Community College, Tupelo, Mississippi, USA
This small flock has adapted to life in town, and they stay here all year.

When students are on campus the geese stay on or near the pond.  But when classes are not in session, they wander around enjoying the green lawns.

They are very wary of people, but not as wild as migratory geese.

Have a wonderful week-end!

  1. Such a nice family, and the parents always on the lookout.

  2. Looks like they have learnt how to cross the road safely!

  3. Cute shots of the Goose family. We see them here year round too. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

  4. They are adorable. I like #2 and last. Them walking.

  5. Ahhh, parenting. How is it that nature has it all figured out and we struggle with it so. These are wonderful pictures, Lea ...

  6. Those goslings are sure cute! I like the second shot where they are all lined up.

  7. Great photos! Glad they are comfortable there.

  8. Ohhhhhhhhhh, how so very precious.

  9. Great photos! We have some geese that live in the pond at the cemetery a few blocks away from us. They fly overhead from time to time, and I always stop and look. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my Wildflower Wednesday post.

  10. Oh, the cuteness! Love the middle one of them crossing the street.

  11. Great shots. We have some geese that have adapted and stay here too.
