Brown Thrasher, May 2, 2015

At Booneville City Park, Booneville, Mississippi, USA, April 30, 2015

I met this Brown Thrasher on the walking path at City Park.  After it decided I was not a threat, it hopped over to a patch of clover to continue its search for food.

Brown Thrasher, April 30, 2015

It is interesting to me that it fluffed up its feathers (in alarm?) when it first saw me, but a few minutes later its feathers seem smoother (it is no longer afraid?) .

Hope you are having a wonderful day!

  1. What a pretty bird! They are impressive. The Robins in my yard don't seem all that afraid of me either.

  9. Nice that he stayed still and posed for you. Even the Robins fly away from me when I pull out the camera!
