Pickwick Dam on the Tennessee River is a hydro-electric dam that generates electricity for our area.
The dam backs up the water of the Tennessee River to form Pickwick Lake. It is a popular vacation spot on holidays and weekends, but it was very quiet and peaceful when we were there mid-week.
