Barred Owl, July 10, 2021

Saturday's Critters and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Click on the photo to see it at its best.

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, July 4, 2021
This is Arrow, a Barred Owl, Strix varia, who was found on the ground when he was approximately two weeks old. He either accidently fell from the nest or was pushed out by a stronger sibling. Raised by humans without his natural parents to teach him, he did not learn to survive in the wild by himself. Now he lives at a bird sanctuary.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I am linking in today with Saturday's Critters and I'd Rather B Birdin'
