Saturday's Critters and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Click on the photo to see it at its best.

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, July 25, 2021
I am always amazed to see web-footed birds up in a tree! I think these are juvenile Double-crested Cormorants, Phalacrocorax auritus, in a tree near the Tennessee River.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I am linking in today with Saturday's Critters and I'd Rather B Birdin'

  1. What a cool shot of the Cormorants, I like their pose. They may have nest nearby in the trees. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend!

  3. I couldn’t believe the first time I saw those cormorants in trees. It just didn’t seem right somehow. Great photo, Lea.

  7. I don't know how they hang on!
I am having problems on Blogger where my blog opens with a strange code on people's reading list. I am still around though.
