  7. Contrary to what William says above, Common Grackle is quite common here from spring through fall. It is a highly underrated species with gorgeous iridescence and a fierce yellow eye.

  8. Don't know if I have seen the Grackle (is it family of the crow?) but the name makes me smile! Together with your barn, the landscape makes me feel at home, because that is what we are passing coming down the mountain, to do our groceries:) Many thanks for sharing it with All Seasons and have a fabuous week!
