Brown Thrashers are rather secretive birds, preferring to forage in the underbrush. I was surprised to see two of them out in an open grassy area.

One of my very favorite birds and I almost never see them here. But I remember them being common in Northeast Mississippi when I grew up there.

Of course I never see them here at our home, but I do out at the strip pits, but never get an opportunity to photograph one. You got great photos.
