Since I am no longer able to dig up a garden spot, but still want to have a garden, I planted my vegetables in containers this year. Here are a few of my bush beans and onions, and of course, my garden helper wanted to be in the picture, too! As an added bonus with container gardening, you don't have to have a large sunny spot. A few containers can be grouped together in several smaller places that receive adequate sunlight. The plants in the foreground are Gladioli (Yes, I planted them in containers, too!).
Happy Gardening!

...I have so much shade!
ReplyDeleteYou can get quite a lot from a few containers, just as long as your helper doesn't eat them ;)
ReplyDeleteNice pots and beautiful dog :)
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think we need a special pet edition of #mygardenrightnow Lea! It's great to see so many of our pet friends popping up in everyone's posts today :)
ReplyDeleteI love your helper! It will be nice to see the gladioli when they flower, too.
ReplyDeleteLike having a raised garden. Perfect! Your garden helper is darling.
ReplyDeleteA true gardener will find a way won't they?
