You have gotten some great macros, and especially love that dragon fly. They are so hard to capture as they flit about so rapidly! also, such a cute little lady bug
ReplyDeleteHello, wonderful series. I just love the cute ladybug. Awesome capture of the dragonfly. Is your unknown bug some sort of stink bug? Beautiful reflections on the creek. Thanks so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful macro shots and reflection.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the Ladybug, here in the UK we call them Ladybirds.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend, Gordon.
...Lea, these take me back to entomology class!
ReplyDeleteI love the color contrast between red, black and green in the ladybug shot!!
ReplyDeleteJust curious... I'm not familiar with pokeweed. Is it sometimes used in salad? (as in "Poke Salad Annie")?
ReplyDeleteWow - great captures - I have a small blue dragonfly that keeps visiting our yard - it even landed on my hand once - but I've not been able to get a photo of it. Love the reflection too.
ReplyDeleteHello Lea! What wonderful photos of these little critters. The reflection photo is beautiful, too. Hope your weekend is going well.
ReplyDeleteGreat, you have a few cute biodiversity there! It reminds me i haven't seen a lady bug this year yet! Maybe because my eyes are focused mostly on butterflies.
ReplyDeleteGreat and beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteSchnetterline can be photographed very difficult!
Great also the last reflection
I wish you a wonderful Pentecost
Warm regards
lots of dots on your ladybug. Unusual I think. Love the dragonfly too. :)
ReplyDeleteThat ladybug is so pretty. We've gotten quite 'buggy' here lately but none of them are as pretty as that! haha! Hugs!
