Happy New Year to you. Rivers and their traffic are fascinating, but just as enjoyable are all the old advertising signs you manage to find. Looking to enjoy 2020 with more of your photos.
ReplyDeleteThe river looks pretty busy.
ReplyDeleteI love walking along a river with tugboats and barges. Great collection of photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a great, happy, and healthy 2020!!
What a lovely flower!
ReplyDeleteI love the old root beer sign. A drive along the river sounds like a great way to spend the afternoon. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great variety! Love the heron!
ReplyDeleteLove these views and I also like that heron!!
ReplyDelete...that barge is huge, there's nothing like that here.
ReplyDelete...Hires has been around for years.
...our red amaryllis is now past bloom, I need to learn how to care for it now.
...cows out on the road can be a common sight here too.
...I think that our heron are now down in your neck of the woods.
Thanks Lea for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.
I used to watch barges on the Mississippi, and sometimes the Tennessee River. They are enjoyable and usually stately. Maybe because they move slowly. Loved the flower and the cows. Last (and only) time I came upon a herd on a country road, they didn't have a shoulder to move onto, and so we followed them down the road until there was another option for them, and us!
ReplyDeleteFun to see these pictures. Did you tell the cows to moo-ve?
ReplyDeleteLovely shots! Happy new year!
ReplyDeleteGood shots!
ReplyDeleteHello, I like watching the tugboats. Beautiful blooms. Great capture of the GB Heron and the cows. I hope the cattle are safe walking in the road. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your day and weekend.
