Red-shouldered Hawk, January 8, 2020

Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, December 12, 2019
I am not good at identifying birds of prey, so it is wonderful to find one that looks exactly like its name!
The Red-shouldered Hawk, Buteo lineatus, has rusty-red feathers on its head and shoulders.

Have a great day!
