I am also thankful that last week's storms passed without major damage in our immediate area.
This is a Spirea, but I am not sure of its exact name. It really shines in the Spring with its masses of tiny flowers, and it has golden-orange foliage in the Autumn.
Have blessed day!

Hello, the blossoms are lovely. We are expecting snow overnight, maybe 1-3 inches. I wish it was spring already. Enjoy your day, have a happy weekend ahead.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so jealous (in a good way) that you are having spring like weather and you are having blooms already! Here everything is covered in feet of snow. I am so ready for spring! :)
ReplyDelete...a nice sneak preview of things to come in my neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the Spirea! It's so nice to see the early Spring blooms! And I am VERY happy to be blogging today! I'm thankful for my old blog and appreciate your friendship! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteLovely spring blossoms!
ReplyDeleteI am afraid we are still a little way from the first blossom here.
ReplyDeleteWE got another load of snow yesterday but i'm hopeful that it was the last large hit we will get this year!
ReplyDeleteIs that the flower that smells so good? There's an unassuming white flower that fills the air with it's scent and it is heavenly. We've had a few days in the low 20s with sunshine and it felt like spring to me.
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting snow on Sunday :( I am ready for spring! Thanks for linking up today and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteMy mom had this...had not thought of Spirea in ages. Thank you for the memory...it is the second time today that people's posts have taken me back in time.
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful little bloom! I love it!
ReplyDeleteSpirea smells wonderful too doesn’t it? Been so long since I’ve actually seen it I’ve forgotten. Hope all this latest horrible weather hasn’t been unkind to you. Take care.
