1. The Most Unusual Thing I have Seen This Week!
Itawamba County, Mississippi, USA, August 18, 2018 |
Never in a hundred years would I have thought to create art with a lawn mower!

3. Good Food!
Florence, Alabama, USA, August 13, 2018 |
… the real reason I love to eat there is that the bread is served with herbs and olive oil for dipping - wonderfully delicious!

...Lea, what a delicious post. Nature and good food! The Hummingbird Moth is fabulous. Thanks for the visit and I hope that you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe butterflies are neat. I don't think we see those kinds here.
ReplyDeleteI love the Praying Mantis.
ReplyDeleteHow cool, the battle flag in the grass! Love the beautiful butterflies and moths!
ReplyDeleteInteresting point of view. I did not see it as a flag, but as just an interesting geometric design. Thanks for your comment!
DeleteHello, the art in the grass is a neat find. I love the butterflies, dragonfly and the praying mantis. The Killdeers are so cute. Wonderful critters and photos. Thanks so much for linking up your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend! PS, thanks for your visit and comments on my blog.
ReplyDeleteWow lots of neat things to see. A fellow I knew said he used to write his name in the lawn--I never saw it though.

ReplyDeleteThose killdeer photos are picture postcard perfect.
ReplyDeleteWe all send our thanks for joining us at I'd Rather B Birdin' this weekend!
Your photos of the butterflies and moths are so good. And love the Praying Mantis hanging out where he knows his prey will be!! Kildeers are so pretty and so funny how they pretend to be injured to get you away from their nest. I always want to say ' don't you know I would never hurt your babies?'
