Harvest Monday, Through My Lens, and Our World Tuesday

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, August 6, 2018
We are getting a few handfuls of figs from our trees. The birds, squirrels, and raccoons are getting more than their fair share!

Have a wonderful week!

  2. I love figs, but they never seemed to ripen for me here. I guess our season isn't long enough. Yours look good though, and I hope the critters will leave you some!

    1. Dave, I have a friend close that thought her fig tree died so she cut it back to ground and now she has about 100 figs on her bush.

  9. Such great looking figs! I've always wanted a fig tree, but I don't have a place to put it during the winter.

  10. We have a fig tree, but after cutting it back drastically we had only two fruits this summer, although there are masses more growing I doubt if they'll ripen before the colder weather. Lovely to see your harvest Lea!

  11. We've picked a few figs too and like you have to beat the birds to them. This is the first year that they have bothered them.
