ReplyDeleteI love figs, but they never seemed to ripen for me here. I guess our season isn't long enough. Yours look good though, and I hope the critters will leave you some!
ReplyDeleteDave, I have a friend close that thought her fig tree died so she cut it back to ground and now she has about 100 figs on her bush.
DeleteOh I bet they are going to be yummy

They wouldn't do well here.
ReplyDeleteYummy! Will you eat them as is, or will you make something with them? I like figs. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteYummy . Please tell something about my blog captures.

Such great looking figs! I've always wanted a fig tree, but I don't have a place to put it during the winter.
ReplyDeleteWe have a fig tree, but after cutting it back drastically we had only two fruits this summer, although there are masses more growing I doubt if they'll ripen before the colder weather. Lovely to see your harvest Lea!
ReplyDeleteWe've picked a few figs too and like you have to beat the birds to them. This is the first year that they have bothered them.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I bet they are delicious! Sure are photogenic! :-)
