Gladiolus, June 7, 2018

Thankful Thursday and Little Things Thursday

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, June 6, 2018
Today I am thankful for Gladiolus! In the Spring I bought 100 bulbs. Yes, you heard me right - one hundred bulbs! Mixed colors, unknown names. This pretty yellow is the first one to bloom.

Have a blessed day!

  2. Beautiful flowers. I hope you post more as they bloom. That's a lot of bulbs and a lot of work, but I bet it will be worth it.

  3. Beautiful glad with its soft yellow color. I haven't had any glads in years, but you have me wanting to plant some. I don't know about 100 bulbs, that's a lot to do.

  6. Awesome! I recently planted a small section with 30 bulbs/purple flowers. They, along with the others on our farm, will bloom shortly. Love them! Thanks for linking up today!

  7. Oh wow--your glads are blooming already! So gorgeous! I used to grow them every year, but in recent years they don't seem to like my garden as much (a little less sun, maybe some other reasons--not exactly sure). They are great cut flowers and so dramatic!

  8. That's a great thing to be happy about--new blooms in the garden! I am sure the rest of the bulbs will reward you just as well!
