Hello, pretty scene. I love the tree and the cattle. It is nice to have some shade on a hot sunny day. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThis has always been one of my favorite summertime scenes - cows hunkering under whatever shade of random trees that they can find. I've always been fascinated by how many can gather in the shade of one tree at once!

I so agree! I showed some big shade trees today and was thankful to be able to park under them. Makes me want to throw a quilt in the shade and read! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWe have hot summers too. Maybe not as hot as you have but a good shade tree with a faint breeze is wonderful. We still don't have AC

They're happy for the shade.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful each day that I awake to a new day
ReplyDeleteI love the photo! When I was a girl, we used to visit my dad's uncles in Iowa, who had cows. I used to go near the fence they were in, and sing to them. They would walk over to the fence toward me when I did that.
ReplyDeleteShade does make a huge difference! We are heading for this temps at least this weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Lea, nice pic of the cattle under the tree. We all need to be in the shade right now. Our weather is pretty hot with the heat index 100 and expected to be higher tomorrow. Take care and stay cool.
ReplyDeleteThe cattle does know how to cool off! We didn't have air conditioning when I was growing up. The house could get sweltering. A shade tree, and a breeze, were always the best relief. Thanks for linking up today.
ReplyDelete...shade is a wonderful thing.
