Tree Following is a fun meme! Just choose a tree and photograph it throughout the year as the seasons change. Post photos on your blog and link up to Tree Following between the 7th and 14th of each month. Easy and Fun to do!

And look! A Nest! It is too high up for me to see inside the nest, and I would not want to disturb the birds anyway.
NOTE: There was a nest in the tree when I photographed it in the Winter. Now that the leaves are so dense, I cannot tell if this is a new nest or the old one.
I cannot be sure whose nest it is, but this Northern Mockingbird kept flying back and forth, scolding me for being too close to the tree!
Have a wonderful day!

I'll have to think about a potential tree! Nice mocking bird - it would be ashamed not to like it!

Awesome that you actually could get a shot of the nest. Our birds build their nests way too high to even attempt a capture! Lovely bird & tree! https://mitzithebarefootwanderer.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteIt must be his nest!
ReplyDeleteIf the bird's acting like that, it's an active nest.
ReplyDeletePretty - and following a tree seems like a great idea, better than following politicians or celebrities!
ReplyDeleteLove the maple.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
A good-looking maple. We just had two maples planted in our garden - maybe I will start 'following' one of them.
ReplyDeleteLooking good - and amazing such a small, young tree already has a nest.
ReplyDeleteI do love that mockingbird - we don't have them in the UK, but the name is so familiar from songs and books...
I do hope some of your other commenters will also decide to follow a tree!
All the best :)
