Thankful Thursday and Little Things Thursday

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, May 8, 2018
Today I am thankful for squirrels!

They are so much fun to watch that I don't mind that they raid the bird feeders. And when I was growing up, many a squirrel ended up in a pot of dumplings! I owe them a debt of gratitude.

Have a wonderful day!

    1. Squirrel is dark meat, and I think it has a richer, bolder flavor than chicken. But it has been 50 years since I have eaten squirrel.

  2. Looks like you got a nice action shot of that squirrel. What kind of camera do you use? The picture quality is so clear and vivid. Thanks for the share, keep up the posts.

  6. I enjoy watching the squirrels in my backyard and they go back and forth looking for food. They also like to climb a tree and tease the dog that lives behind me. I can't hang a bird feeder however as they empty it in an hour!
