All the rain is making the river higher than normal. This fisherman is on the walkway that is usually well above the water. He caught a fish as we watched from the rocks above.
It took awhile to reel it in, but look what a large catfish it is!
(And you notice that his friend is staying on the rocks safely above the flooded walkway).

That's a huge catfish. When I was a kid and I went fishing with my uncle, the catfish came home to feed the cat. Now they are a more sought after food fish. - Margy
