Fish, May 1, 2018

Through My Lens, All Seasons, and Our World Tuesday

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, April 29, 2018
April has been a cold, rainy month, but then last weekend we had beautiful weather! We stopped at Pickwick Dam on the Tennessee River to see if the fishermen were having any luck.

All the rain is making the river higher than normal. This fisherman is on the walkway that is usually well above the water. He caught a fish as we watched from the rocks above.

It took awhile to reel it in, but look what a large catfish it is!
(And you notice that his friend is staying on the rocks safely above the flooded walkway).

Have a wonderful day!

  3. That's a huge catfish. When I was a kid and I went fishing with my uncle, the catfish came home to feed the cat. Now they are a more sought after food fish. - Margy
