BW: Dangerous Waters, May 5, 2018

The Weekend in Black and White, Saturday's Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, April 29, 2018
The sign 'Dangerous Waters, Violent Surges Occur Suddenly, Keep Out' is to warn boats to stay away from the Dam (Pickwick Dam on the Tennessee River). I made these photos using my zoom lens from the safety of the river bank.

Great Blue Heron, Ardea Herodias

Have a wonderful weekend!

  6. I like the lines, and that water does look dangerous. The heron doesn't seem to care, though!

  14. That Heron is just hoping a fish will bob to the surface for a bite of lunch. Bet it does not have to wait long.

  15. I think the heron is hoping a fish will just jump out of the water into his mouth, lol. Thanks for sharing and linking up you post. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
