Happy to see the new leaves and buds after the snow fall. Beautiful woodpecker!
ReplyDeleteNo such thing as outdoor buds here in Massachusetts - as far as I can tell. The garden is all aslick with ice. The amaryllis in the house is cheering.
ReplyDeleteHello, that is awesome to see some new growth. Your Red-bellied woodie is beautiful. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeletebeautiful image of the red bellied woodpecker!!!
ReplyDeletecool woodpecker
ReplyDeleteHardy little hellebores! Love the woodpecker. Happy Bloom Day. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like your Hellebores are ready to pop open! I love your photograph of the Woodpecker visitor...beautiful! Happy Bloom Day!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry - I'm Northern and I'm not laughing. I depend on the Southern gardeners to carry my spirit through winter. What will I do? It was 1 above this morning when I woke up and in outlying areas it got to -10. It will be a while before I see flowers locally (upstate New York) again.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for those brave hellebores that give us hope that spring is on it's way! Great woodpecker shot!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Hellebores! Would not want to be without them. Great bird shot too!
ReplyDeleteWondering why it's called a 'Red Bellied Woodpecker' when its tummy is white.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the woodpecker ,merges quite well against the colour of that silvery grey tree. Nice photo Lea.
ReplyDeleteThats a cute pecker so different as ours.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of 'Woodie' ~ love the colors and textures!
ReplyDeleteHappy Week to you,

It's wonderful to see hellebores coming into bloom! :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love seeing the woodpecker.
ReplyDeleteHeard that hellebores are very sturdy plants (especially when one wants to remove them). And the woodpecker is soo pretty! Many thanks for sharing them with All Seasons! Have a great garden week:)
ReplyDeleteThe woodpecker pic is fabulous, Lea!
ReplyDeleteI always have to smile when I see flowers begin their journey from the ground and especially when there's snow on the ground! Your feathery friend makes for a great shot!!
ReplyDeleteSo hard to believe things are sprouting where you are - here, snow as far as the eye can see!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of the woodpecker ! We had one here I never saw it but could hear it.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how hardy hellebores are! Happy GBBD!
