This is the smallest Praying Mantis I have ever seen. It is on a Coleus leaf on my front porch.

We saw a pair of Pied-billed Grebes, Podilymbus podiceps, close to shore on Pickwick Lake.

    ...Praying Mantis are always a treat to see, this year I'm still looking for them.

    Great photos of these very interesting critters Lea. The Praying Mantis particularly for me as I haven't seen one in a long time.

    Hello, what a great variety. I have not seen a praying mantis in years, great find. The moth is a pretty colorful thing. The Pied-billed grebes are so cute. Wonderful photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.

    That must be a new praying mantis to be that small. What a lovely moth. Haven't seen one of those before.

    Aren't grebes cute little birds!!?! Sweet photos.
