Butterfly Milkweed is putting on its second flush of blooms. The first blooms were in May.
Turk's Cap is just beginning to bloom.
Black-eyed Susans are wonderfully bright, cheery flowers!
The Coneflowers have been in bloom for the entire month and are beginning to look a bit ragged, but for long-lasting blooms they can't be beat!
This is a new purchase - Astra Blue Balloon Flower.
A dear friend gave me these Purslane plants a couple of months ago.
And I have lots of birds in my garden. This is an Eastern Phoebe in bright morning sunlight.
I hope you have a wonderful week!

ReplyDeleteHello, lovely collection of flowers. My favorites are the coneflowers and the blue balloon flower. Cute shoe of the Phoebe. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteMy garden is at the other end of the swing of the seasons - I'm on winter clean up duty this weekend.

Very nice blooms. Knock-out roses and crepe myrtle provide most of the color in or neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of this time of season.
ReplyDeletecute bird
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy coneflowers are downright ugly now! No color left...just so drab and dreary. But they sure are nice the first part of the season.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of summer flowers.
