Moss Rose, May 26, 2017

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, May 23, 2017
Moss Rose, Portulaca grandiflora, are drought and heat tolerant plants native to South America. Plant in a sunny location.

They come in a variety of colors and bloom through the Summer months.

An old car tire works as a flower bed for me!

    They are beautiful blooms, I was tricked into thinking they were a big bush with the first photo, then I scrolled down and found they are tiny.

    Wonderful little blooms. I grow them in a pot on my patio table, a very hot place, and they thrive there.

    You have some beautiful flowers. I have a pink Moss Rose which I love it's nowhere near blooming yet though.
