This Coneflower 'Pow Wow Wild Berry' is a recent purchase. Since it is a perennial I am hoping to enjoy its blooms for many years to come.
Another recent purchase, 'Dolly Parton,' is a white Rose I rescued from the 'dead and dying' shelves at TSC (Tractor Supply Company). I was not sure it was going to live, but over the week-end I noticed new growth - Hurrah!
Rhoeo 'Stripe Me Pink' is a small ground cover type of plant. (Yes, another recent purchase!)
I set it out close to my Hostas.
The Hydrangeas are beginning to bloom. A strong rainstorm Saturday bent the stems over.
And the Day Lilies are blooming!
Happy Gardening!

We are already seeing butterflies here, but hardly any flowers are blooming. My grandson got quite a kick out of seeing a butterfly land on his Dad's shoulder.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot of the butterfly.
ReplyDelete...were does the time go.

It's wonderful to see the summer flowers coming along!
ReplyDeleteWell I just left a comment and was told by blogger something was wrong and try again. I can never remember what all I said. I do like to buy for the 'dead and dying' shelves---sometimes a challenge but happily some finds do great.
