Last week's clouds finally gave way to sunny skies. On top of the pole in the center of this photo is a nesting platform for birds that like to build their nests high above the water.
The turtles in the lake are enjoying the sunshiny days, too!

Like your shot with the turtles. Around here turtles are quite nervous and the only way to get a close shot of them is with a very long lens.
