Bees on Goldenrod, Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, October 14, 2015











Bees are getting the last of the nectar and pollen before colder weather arrives.  We have our first frost this morning.

    Beautiful Lea! Goldenrod is such a pretty wildflower and I love to see the bees out and about. First frost here today. I guess they are all huddled up until next spring :)

    I was surprised to see a few stalks of goldenrod still in bloom while walking last Friday. Most of the goldenrod here has already gone to seed.
