Sky Watch Friday, August 13, 2021

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, August 13, 2021
We have partly cloudy skies today with a high of 90F (32C) with a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms. I had an exhausting day yesterday, and plan to stay home and do as little as possible today!

But the bees and birds and butterflies will have a busy day!

Bee on Encore Azalea

Northern Cardinal eating Pokeweed berries

Swallowtail Butterfly on Butterfly Bush (Buddleia)

I hope you have a beautiful day!

  2. Your weather seems similar to ours today in upstate New York and your first picture has a local feel to it, too. We got a walk and a visit to our community garden this morning, did some grocery shopping with spouse, took a couple of cloud pictures, and am now relaxing also. Have a great weekend.
