Saturday's Critters and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Click on the photos to see them at their best.

We have had very pleasant weather this November - cold mornings, but rising temperatures during the day. These Turtles were enjoying the sunshine Friday afternoon.

Perfect camouflage! If I had not seen it fly into the trees, I would have passed on by without noticing it.

Have a wonderful day!

  7. Wow...love that natural setting photo if the hawk in its environment...and yet kinda unusual to have it perch without a free opening (they usually sit where there is an easy escape route)

I enjoyed my visit here, and give thanks to you for sharing this week at IRBB.

  8. Great turtle photo. Love turtles but there are none of the islands where I have lived.

  9. The turtles are so amusing the way they search for the sun. Just like we do I guess.

  10. Turtles are lovely to come across sunbathing. The hawk is well camouflaged, so it's nice you caught a photo of it.

  14. Hawks are amazing, aren't they? Sometimes I don't even notice them until they swoop down for prey out of the tall trees in the backyard. They are such regal creatures!
