...I can see why Pickwick Lake is a special place for you.
ReplyDelete...you have some lovely color to enjoy, most of ours is mostly on the ground.
...I just planted a spring flowering Camellia that is hardy, will see how it does.
...I haven't seen one in years.
...and the same here.
Thanks Lea for stopping by, take care.
The Camellia is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI won't be seeing any camellias in person for a while; your neighbor's camellia is pretty. Enjoy your color - our leaves have mostly blown on the ground, except in downtown or sheltered areas.
ReplyDeleteI love the sky over the lake, and the beautiful fall colors. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful variety. Hard to pick a favourite. The katydid must disappear in the grass.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful set of photos. I love the fall colors and the flowers especially.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I love the way you caught the katydid!
ReplyDeleteHello. Beautiful photos. I love that Mockingbird.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love the pretty sky over the lake, lovely view. The blooms are gorgeous. Cute captures of the grasshopper. Love the mockingbird, the are great birds. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day. Have a great weekend.
The lake is beautiful! All of our leaves are gone, we had maybe one week of beautiful colours and then the wind took them all away! I love the flower photos, what a gorgeous colour! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks about the Hawk ID. I was thinking it must have been a juvenile and you are probably right about it being a red-tail.
ReplyDeleteCan't remember the last time I saw a katydid. Photos of mockingbirds always make me smile. All your photos are gorgeous. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletePickwick Lake looks so nice. I hope you had a fun time.
